• Oracle: In October 2020, they announced the opening of a new OCI region in Queretaro, Mexico, the second in the country and the third in Latin America. This will improve the performance and availability of customers' cloud applications in the region.
• IBM: In October 2020, they announced the opening of a new IBM Cloud region in Queretaro, Mexico, the first in the country and the second in Latin America. This will improve the performance and security of customers' cloud applications in the region.
• Alibaba Cloud: In November 2020, they announced the opening of a new region in Chile, not in Mexico, but it will benefit customers in the region by improving the performance and security of their cloud applications and strengthening Alibaba Cloud's presence in Latin America.

These investments show the growing interest of technology companies in the cloud computing and cloud market in Mexico, and reflect the importance that this technology has for companies of different sectors and sizes in the country.
