You monitor and analyze data for clinical trials concerning the central nervous system.
To be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act(HIPAA), you can’t collect any identifying patient information, your servers have to store the videos securely, and reviewers have to access the videos in a way that fully protects the patients’ identities.
We create a video-recording application that’s fully compliant with HIPAA standards. SOUTHWORKS leveraged AWS to develop a software solution that provided a secure video-recording backbone and a mobile-friendly app for Android and iOS.
Something that's critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The mobile part is an added value that SOUTHWORKS was able to bring,” said Guillermo Di Clemente, President of Cronos. “Now clients have an app and can do remote assessments without us deploying any hardware to the patient.”
“The software application integrates with our platform and securely connects the two parties,” said Guillermo. “We don’t track the cell phone number, location, user, anything at all. The patients just download our app through a QR code that we provide. There’s no link that we send that somebody can copy and share.”
So not only has SOUTHWORKS’s software solution achieved Cronos’s goals, it has provided Cronos with a distinct advantage over its competitors. That’s what happens when you Make Everything Right™.
Satisfied with the outcome of the project, Cronos asked SOUTHWORKS to work on several additional projects, including a document repository and task scheduler enhancements to improve its critical infrastructure resilience platform. That’s what happens when we #OwnitBringitProveit for our clients.
